If you are curious about the human brain and desire employment in an Allied Health profession, then a career in 神经诊断技术 might be right for you. ACC的 Neurodiagnostic Technologist program is only one of two accredited degree programs in the entire state of Texas and the only program in the Houston area to offer an Associate’s 学位.
ND technologists record electrical activity arising from the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, somatosensory or motor nerve systems using a variety of techniques and instruments. 的y provide valuable data that physicians use to diagnose and treat conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, brain tumors, seizure disorders, strokes and degenerative 大脑疾病.

We offer both an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree as well as an Advanced 技术证书. Students from both program options attend class together.
的 program can be completed in approximately 16 months (not including prerequisite 课程). A new group of students begin every Fall. 的 majority of technical c我们的se work for the program is completed on-campus. 的 clinical experiences begin every 春天. 的y are 2-3 days per week at hospitals and Neurodiagnostic Centers in the 大休斯顿地区.
Graduates are prepared for the Registry Exam of American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.
